Alchemy | Taelpar Harvest Galette

"That's it! I've come up with a new recipe!"

Not your typical galette, this ensemble is part breakfast, part dessert, and 100% delicious. Made from a Duscean Orange, Fine Cleigne Wheat, and Sheep's Milk (in-game, at least!) this sugary and tangy treat will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Yields1 Serving

Ingredients

 2 oranges
 2 eggs
 ½ cup flour
 ½ cup milk
 ½ cup water
 4 dollups of whipped cream
 4 tbsp orange marmalade
 1 tbsp butter, melted
 ½ tsp salt
a few mint leaves for garnish

Increases magic by 120. Increases spirit by 400. Increases maximum HP by 1,000.

Directions

1

Peel the oranges and cut them into 1/2" thick slices.

2

In a large bowl, mix together the wet ingredients of the batter: the eggs, milk, water, and melted butter. Beat together until even in consistency, and stir in the salt. Slowly add the flour, stirring until well combined.

3

Heat a lightly buttered frying pan on medium-high heat; spoon 1/4 of the batter onto the hot pan and gently tip in a circular motion to evenly spread the batter into a thin crepe-like layer. Let cook until firm enough that the "crepe" slides as a whole when you give the pan a gentle shake, which will take a few minutes or so.

4

Carefully flip the "crepe" using a large spatula and continue to cook until firm on both sides, another few minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.

5

In the center of the circle, spread a layer of marmalade and top with a layer of orange slices. Fold the edges inward, like the image.

6

Top with a dollup of whipped cream and mint leaves for garnish; serve immediately.
